Assoc. Dr. Demet Soylu Biography and Professional Career Born in 1979, Demet SOYLU completed her primary education in Alaşehir and studied at Izmir Girls' High School between 1992 and 1995. He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, which he entered in 1995, in 2001. In 2003, he joined the Turkish Air Forces Command in the medical officer class and completed the Contracted Officer Training given at the Air Class Schools and Technical Training Center Command/Izmir as the top student. In 2004, he completed the Flight Medicine and Physiological Training Course held at the Aviation Health Research and Training Center/Eskişehir as the Term First. Between 2004 and 2006, he served as a flight physician at Akıncı 4th Main Jet Base Command and during this time, he flew an F-16 as a co-pilot. He completed his Child Health and Diseases specialty training at GATA Department of Child Health and Diseases between 2006 and 2010 and worked as a pediatrician at Etimesgut Military Hospital, where he was assigned. Upon the expiration of the contract period in June 2015, he left the Turkish Armed Forces and worked at Harvard University, Boston Children's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital in the USA to increase his knowledge and experience in the field of Pediatric Allergy and Immunology, and received the title of associate professor in 2017. Assoc. Prof. is a Social Pediatrician with a master's degree in Social Pediatrics from Ankara University.
